Miraclebox 9 Twin HD PVR is a HD receiver with several unique features that makes is one of the attractive receivers on the market. The operating system is, as before, based on Linux to ensure a powerful operating system with constantly developed functions. This also means that it is compatible and can communicate with other Linux receivers, for example Dreambox.
One of the best features of M9 is that you have two changeable tuners. In this combination there are two Hybrid tuners (DVB-C/T/T2) that makes it possible to receive all HD and SD channels from any cable or terrestrial network. You can record one program while watching another (you can record up to three channels at the same time). If you want to change one of the tuners (for example to DVB-S2) you can easily do this by replacing it with Plug & Play. Together with the powerful graphic processor that gives full HD (1080p) this is undoubtedly a receiver for those who want the best.

There are two built-in smartcardreaders that are compatible with both Viasat and Canal Digital (although not officially approved). Likewise, you have two CA-slots with CI + support. The receiver is equipped with three USB 2.0 connections and you can connect an internal or external SATA hard drive. With an attached hard drive, you can record, pause, and also use the time shift. If you want to connect it wirelessly you can use one of our Miracle WiFi USB-adaptors.
The high-resolution Webbrowser and Free TV + (including Youtube, Earth-Touch HD etc.) are just some of the new features you get with Miraclebox. Another unique feature with our latest models are the DLNA support which makes it possible to stream content directly to / from your iPhone/iPad, Android device or computer.

With a connected HDD you can record one channel while you're watching another one. The tuners are changable if you want to have it with S2 for example by simply changing it (Plug & Play).

Linux OS
The Linux OS gives you a lot of advantages compared to other OS since it is constantly updated with improvements and functions. The userinterface is very easy to use and you can create your own list of favorite channels, edit recordings etc. At the same time there are a lot of third party material that can be used with the receiver and make it even better!

PVR (Hard-drive) and NAS-ready
To be able to record and play movies, use timeshift, pause Live-TV etc you will need to connect a external USB-hard drive or a NAS (Network drive). All recordings (even HD) will then easily be viewable in the embedded mediaplayer. You can also connect and watch the material from any Miraclebox or computer.

Homesharing and Network (Wireless)
With Homesharing you can share information between your receivers at home such as media, recording, movies, music etc. This is done very smoothly with the embedded DLNA-function and you can also mount your receivers to a NAS-drive.
The connection can either be done by a network cable or one of our high speed Miracle WiFi USB adapters.

DLNA-support / Mediaplayer
The Miraclebox 9 is one of few receivers with DLNA-support. You can easily stream your recordings to your iOS- (iPhone/iPad/iPod), Android-unit or computer. Extremely conveniant and no extra applications on your receiver are needed - just connect to your network, start your DLNA-app on your unit and enjoy!
The mediaplayer has a photoviewer with slideshow-functions and can play most of the mediafiles, for example DivX and mkv.

2 smartcardreaders and 2 CI+ slots
There are two universal smartcardreaders built-in that is compatible with most operator cards, including Viasat and Canal Digital. The M9 also has a two CI-slots with CI+ support for future needs. (Notice that Viasat HD only works with official operator receivers for now)
